Rapper Ice-T went back on camera to respond to this YouTube video featuring Soulja Boy disrespecting his elders. Originally, Ice-T made a statement here that claims Soulja Boy ruined hip-hop with his garbage music. Many of us agree! Watch both video’s below! Click inside for the Soulja Boy YouTube version.

The Pittsburgh Penguins received their final beating of the season last night from Detroit at home, losing 3-2 in game 6 of the Stanley Cup finals as the Red Wings went on to celebrate their victory, instilling fresh glory in Hockeytown once more. Henrik Zetterberg took home the Conn Smythe trophy for playoff MVP, securing his name next to the finest in history–including teammate and countryman, Nicklas Lidstrom. The Swedes are unarguably amongst the top performing talent today’s NHL, and Detroit can finally basque in the feeling of greatness after another championship banner is raised at the Joe Louis arena. It’s the 11th title, leaving the Wings as the third most winningest hockey club–ever!
It would have been easy, maybe even forgivable, if the Wings had come out Wednesday night like a half-inflated tire. You never know how much a loss, when you are 35 seconds away from a title, can take out of you. Sure, you tell the media “we’re over it.” But nobody gets over a game like that so fast. It plays in your head. It dances with your demons. It haunts every “what if …” sentence you can think of.
This is where Mike Babcock and Lidstrom come in. This is where Chris Chelios and Kirk Maltby and Darren McCarty and the wizened, red-headed spirit of Kris Draper come in. This is where all the guys who have been there before come in and tamp their hands down and say, “Easy, easy, we can handle this. We know what we’re doing.”
The Wings needed to make that point on the ice. Right away. So Osgood, 35, began the game with a point-blank shot from Petr Sykora — last seen putting one past Ozzie to win Game 5 — only this time, on a much tougher shot, Osgood stonewalled him. Point taken.
And Brian Rafalski, 34, who scored what could have been the game-winner in Game 5, fired a shot off a beautiful pass from Zetterberg and it flew off a Penguins’ shin pad and went past Fleury for the goal. Point taken.
Men in their 30s. Younger men in their 20s. It is the Wings’ best asset, the combination of youth and experience, and they employed it beautifully in that first period, holding back the crowd and any inertia the Pens might have had from their victory two nights earlier. And finally, the game, the season, and the six-year wait were over.

Detroit’s corrupt Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, despite being voted 7-1 to step down by the city council and more recently, facing 8 felony counts of perjury by obstructing the justice, still asserts his innocence and refuses to submit a resignation, claiming, that in the end, “my big dumb ass will prevail.” Some people…they just don’t know when to eat their shit balloon, and Kwame is fixin’ to scarf himself a feast!
Hours after Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy announced that Kilpatrick would face eight felony counts, some members of the Legislature — many who have not commented since the text message scandal exploded — urged Kilpatrick to step down.
“Too many things are at stake,” said Senate Majority Leader Michael Bishop, R-Rochester. “The revitalization of the core business district, the creation of new jobs, safe and productive learning environments for the children, safety of families, the fundamental sense of trust and confidence our citizens have for their government — we simply cannot afford to let it all slip away under this cloud of controversy.”
Kwame’s failure to step down and accept responsibility for his actions has continued to cause the city of Detroit nothing but problems, and his tenure in office is proving to be of negative impact, damaging hope for all. Basically, Kilpatrick is just one big failure at life whose election can be credited to much luck, swindle, and highly questionable tactics.
Some officials expressed dismay that the scandal has hurt their ability to fight for money and support for the city.
“No public officeholder works in isolation,” said Wayne County Executive Robert Ficano. “The mayor must personally weigh how difficult it will be to work with the stakeholders in this region while he is facing these serious charges.”

Cassie was spotted at last night’s “Step Up 2 the Streets” premiere, surprisingly looking decent (if you can still remember who she is). Her last hit was a couple years ago, courtesy of Puff Daddy. Supposedly Cassie will drop a new album sometime around May, so look forward to that and some video stripping.

Chad Butler, better known as “Pimp C” (yes, the same one from 1997’s hit “Burbons and Lacs”) was found dead at a local hotel here in West Hollywood. He performed a couple nights back on Sunset at the House Of Blues, with Too Short.
WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Rapper Pimp C, who was half of the duo UGK and considered a pioneer of southern rap, was found dead Tuesday at the Mondrian hotel in West Hollywood, according to his record label. Images: Recent Notable Deaths The rapper, whose real name was Chad Butler, was 33. “The cause of death appears to be natural at this time, from the initial observations at the scene,” said Capt. Ed Winter of the coroner’s office. He said there was no indication of cocaine or other drugs. Butler was found fully clothed and on the bed. An autopsy will be conducted Wednesday or perhaps the day after, but toxicology tests could take as long as six to eight weeks, he said.
