The official Soundscan numbers are in and it’s official — Jennifer Lopez’s latest album, ‘Brave’, is a certified flop! Pushing only 53,000 units, J.Lo’s album failed to even debut in the Top Ten (she showed up at a disappointing #12.) In contrast, Jennifer’s six previous albums, including her ill-received Spanish record, all debuted in the Top Ten. Making matters worse? 2005’s ‘Rebirth’ sold nearly five times as much as ‘Brave’ did in its first week.

Rihanna And Josh Hartnett?

A new rumor that Rihanna is dating Josh Hartnett has been reported by Us Magazine:

Ladies’ man Josh Hartnett has struck again! After romancing Scarlett Johansson and Helena Christensen, Hartnett, 29, was spotted kissing and cuddling with the “Umbrella” singer, 19, last night at NYC club Pink Elephant, a witness tells Usmagazine.com.

A source says the couple — who lunched about three weeks ago in L.A. — met up after her Thursday night concert at the Nokia Theatre in Times Square. The duo, sitting at a table of Dom Perignon and Pink Elephant Vodka throughout the night, “didn’t come together, but left together,” the witness adds.

When reached by Us, a rep for Hartnett had no comment.

Ashanti Appears At AMC Nominations

Check out Ms. Ashanti at the American Music Awards nomination announcements, in Beverly Hills earlier today (October 9). As we told you last week, her album has been pushed back to December 11th. Ashanti just wrapped up the video over the weekend for her new music video “Hey Baby (After The Club)” featuring Mario Winans. The video was shot in Los Angeles with famed director Hype Williams during October 5 & 6.

This will be Ashanti’s 1st Single to her new CD “The Declaration”, due December 11 (Universal). Though details of the video are being hold under wraps for production, it was confirmed that both Mario Winans, Diddy and a couple of other celebrities will have cameos in the music video and that the video is very different & sexy. Sources says the video will be sure to put Ashanti back on the map. The video is set to premiere at the end of the month.
